Cost:
Free

We’ll be led by local historian and author Dennis Evanosky as we explore traces of the Hayward Fault. Read about a version of the walk we did a couple years ago here.

Please note we’re working on getting better organized, and there is now a sign-up (still free) process here.

As always, bring water, good walking shoes, and a hat and/or sunscreen as needed. Hearty, healthy dogs on-leash are welcome to join our walk. (Note: dogs are OK in the parking areas of the Mormon Temple, but not on the plaza next to the temple, so dogs and their people will have to walk a slightly different route.)

  1. Can you please provide a link to the details? This group sounds really great. I’m third generation born and raised in Oakland. And would be interested in participating. Thank you!
